ACCOMMODATION

We advise that you book your accommodation in Toronto as soon as possible. June is a very popular time to visit. Accommodation will go quickly, and the prices will increase.

Our main venue/meeting point is the St. Lawrence Market, so we advise not staying too far from this location so that traveling in for conference activities is not an issue.

We are finding more and more that people like to find their own accommodation rather than stay in a traditional conference hotel. However, as a courtesy we have rooms held in a couple of locations for conference participants, which can be booked on a first come, first served basis directly with the provider. Please use the links below to book.

  • One King West ($395 CAD per night)
    1 King St W, Toronto, ON M5H 1A1, Canada
  • Holiday Inn Block full
111 Lombard St, Toronto, ON M5C 2T9, Canada

Please note that we cannot guarantee accommodation for you. If these options do not work for you, we encourage you to check out some of Toronto’s many options for accommodation in the Downtown area which include a range of small and large hotels, and options like Airbnb and other short term rental sites.

VISAS

Please review all information about any requirements necessary for traveling to Canada here.

It's possible that you will need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to Canada. Some visitors, such as those traveling from the USA, may only need their valid passport.  Learn more about the eTA here, and if you need an eTA, you can apply online at the same link.

If you are traveling to Canada from a country where you will require a visa, we urge you to apply as soon as possible. You can use this tool on the Canadian Government's website to check estimated processing times for visas from citizens of your country. Please note that we cannot help you obtain a visa.

If you are a speaker or attendee and need a visa to travel to Canada for this event, we can provide you with a proof of attendance letter after you register for the conference. Please note that we cannot help you obtain a visa.

COVID POLICY

Here are the current rules/guidelines on Covid-19 for traveling into Canada. At this time, you are not required to take a test or provide proof of vaccination.

We strongly encourage all attendees to be fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID (within 72 hours of arrival) before attending the conference.

Protocols, including masking requirements, will be decided closer to the event date based on case rates and local guidelines in the Toronto area and individual venues. Currently, masks are not required for events in Toronto, and rules are left to individuals and businesses to decide. Up to date guidance on Covid-19 in Toronto can be found here.

Unless anything changes around the time of the event relating to Covid-19 case rates and policies in Toronto, we will not be enforcing mask wearing at the event. It will be up to you whether you wish to wear a mask or not during event activities.

In the event of illness before the event, you will be able to cancel.
