The 13th International Public Markets Conference is a three-day event that focuses on new trends and innovations in the public markets field from across the globe. The event will feature a plenary, breakout sessions, market tours, mobile workshops, networking receptions, and more.
The conference is organized by Project for Public Spaces and will next take place in New York, New York, USA on May 20-22, 2026, with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYEDC) as our co-host.

The conference will bring together public market leaders and advocates from across the globe, including a broad mix of market operators and managers, local food advocates, civil society groups, policymakers, consultants, academic researchers, and more.

Early Registration will open on February 14, 2027.
A full registration includes access to all conference sessions, any included coffee/tea breaks, refreshments at any included receptions, a mobile workshop of your choice, and a Saturday market tour of your choice.
Yes, there will be scholarships available once Early Registration opens on February 14, 2027. Check back for more details and an application link at that time.
Please note that as a nonprofit organization with limited funding for scholarships, we will not be able to accept all applications. Any scholarship amount awarded applies directly to the cost of registration fees only. We are unable to offer help with travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
